Secret Sci-Fi enthusiast who enjoys the thrill and reward of 13,000 foot hikes in the Colorado Rockies, boating on Lake Sammamish, walking the dog on sunny days at the park and spending time with her family. Marielle De La Torre, born in Washington DC, traveled around the globe with her family thanks to family job positions with the Peace Corps and various government posts. After obtaining her B.S. degree in Communications from Towson State University, Marielle’s nomadic upbringing led her to relocate to Seattle in 1997. With a real estate license in hand and an inner drive to excel at her work, Marielle joined MK Property Services, LLC in 2003. Over a near decade and a half Marielle proceeded to take on various positions in the Firm, taking on more responsibility at each succession often creating new processes and strategies conforming to the Firms’ mission of delivering superior customer service and expert knowledge in the field of commercial property management and brokerage. In her current role as the Firm’s Chief Operating Officer, Marielle takes on the challenges of complex brokerage negotiations with a talent for diving into the details in retail lease contracts. In addition to her transactional work, she strategizes and implements the operational process and programs for the Firm. “What we do here at MK isn’t merely collecting the rent and reporting on property financials.
